The presentation of the current tourism potential of the 11 World Cup host cities during a road show «Road to the World Cup FIFA 2018» was held at the Russian booth. Yesterday, November 30, 2017 the 3 day of the national Russian booth’s work had finished at IBTM.
Russia took part by the collective booth RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD for the first time. National booth provided to the international MICE community key Russian regions and their infrastructure opportunities in the field of meeting industry.

More than 600 meetings were held at the Russian stand with the participation of the national booth’s co-exponents. Upwards of 100 meetings were held by the Russian Congress Bureau Association, which was launched in November, 2017. The highlights of the first day of work of RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD stand were the presentations of the event-potentials of the cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Tula, round table on topic «Tendencies in meetings industry development in Russia: ways of cooperation» with participation of major Russian companies and MICE agencies. The day two was marked with a successful presentation of the current tourism potential of the 11 World Cup host cities during a road show «Road to the World Cup 2018», where the participants not only told about the preparations for the event in Russian cities, but also presented the special conditions of participation for the fans. Today, November 29, 2017 The FIFA World Cup 2018 was successfully presented at Russian national booth RUSSIA OPEN TO THE WORLD, organized by the Russian Federal Tourism Agency and supported by representatives of Visit Russia, the Ministry of Transport of Russia and the Russian Football Fan Club. Representatives of the world tourists and business community, hospitality industry and Spanish Mass media became the main guests of the event. The current tourism potential of the World Cup host cities, historical sightseeing, architectural monuments and new tourist routs were demonstrated to the visitors.
The presentation's participants spoke about the most relevant issues linked to organizing and holding the FIFA World Cup in Russia, role of our country at the international arena, about the Russia's transport accessibility, logistics and the possibilities of moving around the host cities and between them during the FIFA World Cup and the States’ cooperation in the tourist field. Football fans were presented with the different variants of cultural program during days of no games and were provided detailed information on obtaining the FAN ID, which will allow entry to the territory of the Russian Federation without visa.

More than 1000 specialists visited Russian national exposition at the first day of IBTM. According to the Event-Driven Potential Rating of Russian Regions for the year 2016, which was compiled by the R&C Market Research Company, the city of Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, is among the top five leaders in terms of state-of-the-art event infrastructure. Kikoriki is a Russian animated television series for general audiences. Created as part of the World without Violence educational project, it is produced under the auspices of the Russian Ministry of Culture.
It follows the adventures of a group of colourful rounded creatures that explore the world and sometimes get into trouble. The main series spans over 450 episodes, some of which are purely comical and entertaining, while others touch upon more serious issues and even venture into deep philosophy, making the animated film enjoyable for children and adults alike. The main series is supplemented by a feature-length animated prequel, Kikoriki. Team Invincible, and a feature-length spin-off Kikoriki. The Legend of the Golden Dragon, as well a science-themed Pin-Code series and the ABC series, dedicated to general cultural education. Furthermore, the series inspired the Shararam multiplayer game.
In September of 2008, 99 of the series' episodes were adapted for American audiences and aired at the CW channel. Apart from the US, the series is also broadcast in 60 countries, having been translated into 15 languages.
